White Refugee

In DevelopmentDrama / Spiritual Journey

"Russian refugees who flee from Russia and the Baltic states to the Amazon jungle. They establish a secret spiritual society and believe they have reached the end times."

Synopsis

A group of Russians from cold Moscow (originally from Saint Petersburg) mysteriously end up in Istanbul via mysterious "spiritual guidance" caused by summer love wars and lightning storms over Crimea in the Black Sea. These "light resistance" fighters become "white gypsies" in Istanbul before discovering they need to travel to Macapá Brazil—near the European Space Agency launch facility in Guyana. Two Russians and their girlfriend begin a foot journey up the Amazon without a map, accidentally taking the wrong river into oil-rich Venezuela. In Bolívar, they meet English-speaking "indigenous" people who are actually from Pakistan, Bangladesh, and India—who pretend to be lost natives while teaching them to live on the delta. The journey continues to Lake Maracaibo—the "Lightning Lake of Reincarnation"—where lightning is seen as death and resurrection. The film's end suggests Russia relocating its capital to West Papua, Indonesia.

Know Jungle Called God

Pre-ProductionSpiritual Documentary / Eco-Mystic

"What if the Amazon Jungle is not just trees and rivers, but the voice of God itself? What if the second coming wasn't in a temple—but in the wild, raw, chaotic jungle?"

Synopsis

A Chicago mover nicknamed Steve gets caught up in a complex web involving indigenous populations, drug trafficking, spiritual beliefs, and international conflicts. His friend J proposes a radical solution: "spiritual moving"—relocating people out of the Amazon without physically entering the jungle. The film blends documentary footage with fictional narrative, exploring themes of indigenous cultures, environmental concerns, and the spiritual connection between humanity and nature. Through visionary jungle journeys, sacred rituals, and interviews with villagers and spiritual wanderers, the film asks: Can the Amazon be the blueprint for a new spiritual civilization? Music collaborations sought with Paolo Nutini, FKJ, The HU, Karol G, and others. Filming locations span from Chicago to Bolivia's sacred Lake Titicaca and the salt flats of Uyuni.
